We rent our two private holiday houses in Istria, Croatia. Balini is a traditional stone house with swimming pool and breathtaking view on Motovun from its hill top position. Balini, a stone house with swimming pool

Our villa Balini is a traditional Istrian stone house of 180 m2, within a Mediterranean garden including a large swimming pool (4 x 8 m) and an authentic Istrian barbecue. The house contains two fully equipped apartments and is suited for up to 10 people. This holiday house received a 4 star categorization from the Croatian tourism authorities. The rent for this house is between 600 and 1.650 Euro per week, depending on the number of people and the season. More information Balini.

Casa Acqua Dolce: a luxury house with private spa

This four star house of 250 m2 is situated in the small historical town of Oprtalj (Croatia). It has its own private spa with indoor swimming pool, jetstream, jacuzzi, sauna, massage mattress and special relax area (more information about the spa). From the living room and the large terrace you have a wonderful view over the surrounding area. This house was completely renovated in 2005. It is fully equipped and disposes of central (floor) heating, making it a year round destination. There are 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. We can house up to 8 people with guaranteed privacy. The rent is between 1.000 and 1.990 Euro a week, depending on the number of people. More information Casa Acqua Dolce.

Location of our houses

Both houses are situated in Istria, which is the most Western part of Croatia. Istria is known as the blue and green peninsula, with pure air, a clean sea and a lot of sunny hours. It has a rich cultural heritage. This Umbria-like region is a land of artists and offers delicious food and wine, a land where the best truffles are found. Istria is bordering the EU and nearer than most realise. For example, Trieste in Italy is only 35 km away from both of our houses. Venice, the Alps, Austria, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Split or Plitvice are all within 3 hours drive. If you want to know how to get there, click "Getting there".
