A couple from the UK
We love our stay in Casa Acqua Dolce. A week is not enough. We continue to be impressed with all the attention to the detail you've put into the house! We hope to be back.

Your house deserves a place in a designers' magazine. It is really beautiful and the view is just spectacular. Every morning when waking up I am impressed in "my room with the view". The holdiay was just perfect and quite. I fully enjoyed the swimming pool in these temperature. Greet
Just beauty. Every day I jump into the pool and feel fresh again, I just enjoy the view from my room. Also nice little towns in the area, as Novigrad. Very nice interior. Bert

Just after the "forest" we saw the name-board "Benvenuti a Balini" (Welcome to Balini) and 20 m further, wheen we gor out of the carn we already felt very welcome. The first thing we did was not to go to our appartement. But instead we just enjoyed the peace and calm and were impressed by the view and the wonderful area.
And then we went into the house. Once the alarm under control and the olive green shuters opened, we again were confronted with a surprise. What a nice warm and confortable atmosphere inside. And the bedroom with balcony just exceeded any expectation 'at niight, with a glass of wine, we often toasted on this feeling).
We made great tours in the region. enjoyed the house and did not miss the stress of a city.
We hope to be able to return to this place. Really MERCI for this wonderful holiday.. And yes you make dreams come true!

Really high calls interior design, beautiful house, nice area, just perfect.
The pool was just great for the kids and the best thing for the adults. The kids played for hours in and around the pool, giving us plenty of time to relax.
We were never at a place so beautiful. A real paradise, even better.
Balini = SUPER = BEAUTIFUL = UNBELIEVABLE = THE MAX = GREAT.

The bikers
We all had been in Istria once or more. But now it was time to test Oprtalj. Not just the house, but also the many activities and arrangements that IstraPanorama offers.
One day we went hiking in the mountains in the Ucka range (pure nature and we saw no one else); one day we went biking starting from Oprtalj to Zrenj, the castle, Sovinjak, Vrh, Livade and back (heavy); we visited wine producers (especially the champagne in Vrh was super) and olive oil (Claudio and Irene: we did not know that olive oil could be so good); we "hunted" for truffles and found a reasonable amount of "white truffles" which the local (Dutch) excellent cook used in the meal he prepared in our own kitchen in Casa Acqua Dolce (name Joris gave to the house: many of us come from Oud-Heverlee, where we have het Zoete Water (= Acqua Dolce), our nature resort); we went sailing along the Istrian coast and did not see any dolphins this time; and went for a little walk to Balini and enjoyed the local restaurants. And all this in one week!!!
And than the house: a living room with a fantastic view; a kitchen to enjoy food and friends; bedrooms with a view, some with a complex beam-structure in the roof and a bathroom where wellness is already an overall feeling; and finally the WELLNESS: just perfect, certainly after a day outside with lots of sport and exercise. The whole restaurantion was clearly done with so much feeling for details, where history can be seen from the walls and decoration adds to the feeling of being taken care of.
We can certainly recommend this house to everybody.
A group of Orthopedagogues
We came for a long WE, but never expected this. The house is just perfect, the region so beautiful, Istria has so much to offer and the people so friendly. And the weather: we had snow in the beginning and blue skies most of the time. Just perfect.
The plan was to have long WE with the staff. We travelled from Belgium with RyanAir to Treviso (near Venice) where we rented two cars. A three hour drive got us in Oprtalj where we immediately were taken by the impressive hallway and living, with super kitchen and cozy sitting room. After having been led around the rest of the house we went to bed (or had a final drink. The next morning we had breakfast while overlooking the logia in terracota colour, the olive- and wineplantations and the snow on the trees. Bright colours in spite of winter.
We did some walking, enjoyed the restaurant next door, visited Rovinj, prepared ggreat meals in the super-kitchen and above all just dreamed away in the wellness. We also had a work-visit to a local organisation taking care of abandonned children. This is truly paradise.
